Product Description

Flyer is a critical component in Speed Frame (Simplex Frame) machines, used before Ring Frame in the yarn manufacturing process.

Function of a Flyer

Twisting: Applies light twist to the drafted sliver.
Winding: Guides the roving (semi-spun yarn) onto a bobbin.
Rotating Mechanism: Rotates around the bobbin while feeding the roving.

The flyer has two arms (fork-type shape), and one arm contains a flyer top or nozzle where the roving passes and winds on the bobbin.
